Refunds and Cancellations

Dolly’s is just a small one woman  business so every purchase or booking you make is essential to keep me in business. I keep classes small so you can have the attention you need when learning a new skill.  Once you have booked a class with me that is your place secured.  This means if you cancel at short notice it has a big effect on me and Dolly’s.  This is why I ask that you pay for your class in full when making your booking.  We have a few ways you can pay, if you are coming in to the shop to book then we can take cash or card payments.  Over the phone we can take card payments or if you are booking online you can use your card or PayPal.  Once you have paid that’s it, that space on the class is yours!

I understand that sometimes things happen and it might mean you can’t attend on the date you’ve booked so please give me a call and I’ll try my best to get you on the next available class.

If you wish to cancel I need 7 days’ notice and then I can provide you with a 75% refund.  I ask for 7 days’ notice so that I have the opportunity to fill your space on the class and the 25% of your payment not refunded covers admin fees.  If you don’t give me 7 days’ notice then the full amount is non-refundable.

I have a lovely selection of fabrics and haberdashery in the shop that you can buy.  I keep prices as low as I possibly can.  I’m not able to offer credit so if you are buying something then you will need to pay in full for it.  I know that sometimes there might be a vintage pattern or length of fabric you’ve fell in love with that you just can’t afford right now so I am happy to hold them for you.  All you need to do to hold something is give me your name and date that you can pay and will come to collect it and I will make sure it’s here for you then.  If it’s not paid for and collected by the agreed date and I haven’t heard from you, I will pop the goods back on the shop floor.  I hope you understand.
